Hi Guys, I just wanted to send a quick email to say a massive thank you for playing at our Wedding on Saturday. You were absolutely incredible, all of our guests commented on how brilliant they thought you were. Getting us on stage at one point was such great fun and something neither of us will ever forget. We knew we’d made the right choice from the moment we listened to your stuff online, but I can honestly say you exceeded all of our expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending you to anyone else. April and I had the most incredible day and you played a huge part in that, so thank you.

We just wanted to give our huge thanks for the wedding on 7th April at Marlborough Town Hall.

Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. The music was always so important to us and you exceeded our expectations by a mile. You were absolutely incredible – from the acoustic duo to the evening. You made sure everything ran perfectly even playing our set lists exactly when we wanted them. Getting us on stage to sing along was just unimaginable and the most fabulous and perfect soundtrack to our day! We could not have asked for anything more. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and we had so so many comments on just how great you were.

Professional, exceptional music, and friendly musicians.

Best Wedding band you could wish to find!! You can really tell these guys have been playing together for a long time and that they love playing together. They are full of energy, play so many awesome songs and had all of our Wedding guests on the dancefloor all night long! So many people commented on how great they were. Really professional and so much fun – we can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you guys!!

I’d like to say a big thank you for the fantastic atmosphere that Halflight created for us at the Avon Gorge Hotel last Saturday for Laura and Brook’s wedding party. You certainly wasted no time in filling the dance-floor and everyone seemed to have a great time. I have to admit that I didn’t recognise most of the songs that you played but the fact that all the ‘youth’ on the floor seemed to know all the words to all the songs is more of a comment on my musical knowledge and currency than anything else. All the guests that I have spoken to have said what a great voice you have and how well you covered the set-list – we all, including those of us less musically gifted, very much enjoyed Halflight’s excellent performance.

Very many thanks again Sam to you and your colleagues for such an excellent evening. The party as a whole was unforgettable and your role in it was very significant – I am very grateful to you for it, thank you. I wish Halflight every success for the future and subsequent engagements.

We can’t thank you enough for the brilliant evening party you provided for our wedding last week. Our first dance is still a bit of a blur and much trickier in a dress, but you made it simple and we loved that we could dance to a live band!

Your sets were fantastic and got everyone in the spirit. A sign of an amazing band – once you finish your first set and start to DJ, everyone leaves the dance floor! Plus the moment you kicked off your second set, our guests all followed.

You really do appeal to all, from the 70 year old parents and aunties, to the little 5 year olds busting some moves. Everyone had a wonderful time and we were so proud to have you there. The evening was faultless.

Many thanks for the superb entertainment you provided for our wedding guests on Saturday night. We had a great time, and I’ve had loads of really great feedback for Halflight (including a couple from a some of your fellow ‘musos’ who said they were very impressed!)

Thanks also for the hassle free manner in which you guys got on with setup and clear down alongside our DJ – we simply felt that everything was in hand.

Just a quick note from our honeymoon to say thank you so much for Saturday! It was absolutely amazing. We had so many comments about how great you guys were; the song choices, the quality of the music and the way you all interacted with everyone. We wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for the brilliant music at our wedding! You were consummate professionals and had an amazing energy on the stage – as well as being great musicians of course – and kept the dance floor packed with happy bodies all night. We all had the best time! Nearly everyone I spoke to made a point of saying what a great band you were, and I was definitely torn between talking to people and just dancing the night away (actually leaning more to the latter…!). Thank you, also, for learning our first dance song, and for helping with the iPad between sets.

Here is a belated thank you for your awesome performance at our wedding on the 27th of July at Orchardleigh.

You really capped off a magnificent day off for us; you really had the whole room rocking from start to finish, which was just what we wanted.

We had so many comments on how good you guys were on the night and have had many chats with various guests since the wedding recollecting on how excellent the band was. We are so glad we chose you to play at the wedding and should we have any other friends with weddings/functions we won’t hesitate in recommending you.

So many of our guests have been commenting on how good you were, and we really thought that contrary to most events bands you guys really had some edge and bought your own element to some classic songs, and they all sounded great. Thanks for the great music at our wedding party. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and (without exception) were really impressed with your band and especially the range of different tracks you performed, all at such a high standard…you did a brilliant job of keeping the dance floor packed!

Your set list hit exactly the right tone, bringing pretty much everyone at the wedding on to the dance floor at some point from the teens to the more senior guests of the day (including my godfather who was the vicar at the wedding and is in his mid seventies!). The music was of a very high standard and it was clear that you are all highly capable musicians who combine excellently to form a very tight unit. The length of set was exactly right, in short we genuinely can not find anything other than entirely positive feedback to give to you from the day.

Fantastic does not quite cover it. The dance floor was full from the first song to the last … even the sound check had people on their feet! Thank you guys for providing such high quality entertainment and playing a big part in an evening we will remember forever.

We just wanted to email to say a huge, massive, great big thank you for playing at our wedding. You were just brilliant, perfect for our wedding. The music was great, I’m not sure i have been at a wedding before where so many of the guests were up dancing, even my 87 year old grandfather! We had such an amazing time, and have received many compliments about you from our guests.

We would just like to thank you very much for playing at our 25th Wedding Anniversary party at Tortworth Court last Saturday, everyone said they had a great time and what a great band you were and we would like to endorse that from us as well !!

You really got the balance right with all the music and had everyone on their feet, although I apologise for the bad dancing

Thanks again for including Everlong in the set, we really love that track and we were very pleasantly surprised you also did ‘Don’t stop me now’ and ‘A town called malice’, both tracks that meant a lot to us in our early years !

Thank you all so so much for making the evening such a fantastic one to remember! Totally wonderful bunch of guys, so, so glad we chose them for our Anniversary Evening Party, lifted the energy, got young and old dancing & singing!! Excellent set list and even took on my request for a bit of Paloma Faith. Loads of fun and lots of compliments from our guests.

Exceptional band…Really tight musically, playing a range of oldies and newies. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer bunch of guys to join us on our wedding day. Hope to see them again soon! If in doubt, go meet them and then book them!

Sam and the crew played at our wedding in Clevedon on 4 Mar 2017. The guys were amazing. They played all the songs we asked for and some belters as well. Would highly recommend these guys. Now just have to think of another event to book you for!
