It’s interesting that more people don’t have campsite festival style weddings. Well maybe they do, but the majority of weddings we play at are at fairly opulent venues with grand houses. The festival wedding has to be one of our favourites though. The cool thing is it can cost a fraction of the price of a stately home wedding reception – it just involves a little more planning.

Festival style campsite weddings are great because everyone can stay the night cheaply in various levels of campsite luxury. That means that people can party harder and longer into the night. With the money you save on the stately home, you can trick out your marquee with cool stuff like ice-cream stands, sweet stalls, a magician, bouncy castles, firepits etc. Hiring in a hog roast takes care of evening food.

As long as there’s a bar and a band, though, that’s pretty much all you need!
