Booking
How much do you charge?
Prices start from £1295 in Autumn/Winter season and rise to around 1500 in Spring/Summer. Our price fluctuates based on the time of year, so when you get in touch to check your date, we'll give you a price with any travel fees that are applicable.
Are there any other expenses?
We include travel within a 50 mile radius of Bristol. Outside that, we'll charge modest expenses to cover fuel. There are no other expenses.
How do you take payment?
We take £150 deposit to secure the date. The remainder is due a month before the wedding, but you're free to pay instalments or the whole thing earlier if that's convenient.
Can we come and see you before we hire you?
Yes! In fact we're one of the only bands that allows this. Get in touch and we'll arrange a time for you to visit us at our studio.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, we can supply PAT testing and Public Liability insurance documents to venues on request.
Songs
Can we choose the songs you play?
We have a fixed set list that can be made available to you at the time of enquiry. Our sets are carefully planned to run together smoothly and within the timescales, so we don’t offer them up for alteration. Also, these songs have consistently provided the best audience reaction and we like to keep EVERYBODY happy! Think of it as one less thing for you to worry about!
Can you learn our first dance?
Yes. We frequently do this and the results are fantastic. We need about 1-2 months notice.
Can you learn another song?
If we're not playing your first dance we can learn one other song to put into the set for you. We need about 1-2 months notice for this.
Do I need to hire a DJ?
Nope. We've got you covered with a DJ playlist service. We have playlists for before, between and crucially AFTER our sets which are full of popular and varied tunes. We'll cue these up at the end of the night based on what's working well for your crowd.
Can we make our own DJ playlist?
Yes of course. You know what your people like, so if you want to put together a Spotify playlist, that's fine with us. Just send it to us ahead of the wedding and we'll already have it prepared.
On the day
What info do you need from us?
We need to know the venue, the rough timings of the party and if you'd like us to learn a first dance for you. Plus any directions for parking and unloading.
When do you arrive and how long does it take before you're ready to start?
We typically arrive around 6:30pm to load in. It takes us about an hour to set up. From there, it may take up to 30 minutes more to sound check depending on the venue.
Providing we can access the room at 6:30pm, we're generally ready to start by 8pm which in our experience is perfect. Don't worry if your day is running behind - there's plenty of time for everything to happen.
Can you work with a sound limiter?
Yes! We use electronic drums and quiet stage volumes to control our levels. We'd prefer limiters to be 90db or over, but can generally work well with most requirements.
How many sets do you play?
We play 2 hours of music in 2 sets most of the time. One shorter 45min first set and a longer 1hr15 second set. We can play 3 x 40 minute sets if you need that, although it's usually better to have 2.
When do you leave us? Sob.
We're at your venue until midnight. We'll play music until this time through our system.
If you'd like us to extend to 1am, this can be arranged in advance for £200 or in cash on the day depending on the length of our drive home!
What do you need for my marquee wedding?
We need a flat hard stage area with reliable and safe power points either side of the stage.
We require about 4KW from a generator. We recommend you hire a generator rated at 6-10kVA.
Can you play outside?
We can as long as there's cover in the event of rain, and safe electrical supply.
